Reinterpreting iterations of ‘Balmy’, this group show celebrates a shared searching for a sense of calm.

As an expression of time, and of the tumultuous last few years, a collective of Australian artists draw from recent experience to propose works that offer an escape. Binding each is a commonality of desire for connection, both to one another and to the natural elements. 

The works transport to places of tranquility and encourage a reposeful contemplation, and the letting go of tensions. Through a grounding nature, the works explore transformation and escape, while drawing back to the present. 

The exhibition draws focus on connection, ocean, sky and energy.
